“BATHTUB”-naming itself gives the relaxation feelings. It is a dreamy accessory for everyone to design their bathroom. But being expensive, having space problems and maintenance it’s not possible for everyone to convert their dream into something practical. Nowadays soaking tub is most knowing and favorable to everyone and creates more fascination to the tub lovers.
SOAKING TUB:
A soaking tub is a deep bath, designed for long & comfortable soaks. The purpose of this is to cover your body with water. That means it is deeper than average bathtub that is designed to offer the ultimate in relaxation by allowing you to fully submerge. Without not leaving your home you can have a relaxing spa experience. It is easily installed in your master bath or homeowners who live in mild climates have the option of choosing to put them in his/her garden.

Soaking bathtub is excellent for adults and seniors that no doubt. But it is not rough safe for children. Bath in it due to the danger it poses. The person who has any physical limitation, climbing in and out, must be more careful.DIFFERENCE WITH A STANDARD TUB:
Some differences are eye up when you choose a soaking tub rather than a standard tub. These can be- Main difference in the water depth. Standard has 1 foot of water depth whereas soaking tubs can go up to 3 feet or 36 inches in some cases.

- A standard bathtub still requires a recess or deck to install where a soaking tub can be placed anywhere in your home.
TYPES OF SOAKING TUB:
1. Freestanding Soaking Tub:
This is designed to stand outside any walled enclosure, best suited for larger bathrooms. They can further be categorized according to the type of their feet or base.
2. Undermount:
Similar to overmount, except the tub is installed underneath a ledge or bathtub deck. It’s mostly supported by the floor below.
3. Drop in/Overmount:
Made to be lowered into a built-in surround. The sides of the tub are hidden, leaving only the top of the rim exposed.
4. Corner Soaking Tub:
Of course it meant for the bathroom corner and angled spaces.
5. Walk in Soaking Tub:
Best for senior citizen. These tubs are usually designed with an ADA compliant, chair height seat, allowing its bathers to sit upright while soaking the rest of their body. It has some features such as, heated seat, neck and back pillow and even foot massagers.

- Inquiry about gallons of water to check whether your water heater will be enough or not.
- Drain and pipe placement.
- Choose a non-slick bottom for the tub that ensures safety.
